Why deep water culture is the best method for indoor hydroponics
There are a wide variety of methods for providing nutrients to plant roots in a hydroponics system. Most common are nutrient film, flood and drain, aeroponics, and of course deep water culture.
For indoor hydroponics, we strongly recommend using deep water culture for its simplicity and safety.
What is deep water culture?
Deep water culture is a method of delivering nutrients to plant roots by suspending the plant above a bucket filled with nutrient solution, and allowing the roots to be submerged in the nutrient solution.
The nutrient solution does not need to move or be pumped at any point, eliminating the need for any expensive or complex pumping and piping systems.
